Product Description

Thanks to Aquaform Technology, Biofinity multifocal contact lenses lock in moisture and allow oxygen to pass through helping your eyes stay white and healthy. These high-performance Biofinity multifocal contact lenses enable your eyes to focus at the most optimal level. With transition zones that let you see everything clearly from any distance, these contact lenses are all you need!

Contacts for presbyopia

Over 40? Meet Biofinity Multifocal - the perfect solution for your presbyopia! Biofinity multifocal lenses are great for the correction of nearsightedness or farsightedness with presbyopia (the condition when your eyes have trouble focusing on near objects and fine print, especially in low light). The lenses may also be worn for some cases of astigmatism that may accompany presbyopia.

Multiple zones for vision correction in both lenses

These premium contact lenses will allow you to see near and far objects, along with everything in-between. These contacts feature multifocal lens design that was created with Balanced Progressive Technology. It allows these multifocal lenses to have multiple zones for vision correction. That is different from your bifocal glasses that have only two zones (one for near and one for far), and it is different from wearing one contact to be able to see far and one contact to be able to see close.

Support your lifestyle

With Biofinity contacts, you can go effortlessly from reading a book to working on your computer to driving. All with the clarity and comfort your eyes deserve. These contacts correct vision for all distances in both lenses.

Extended wear contacts

The Biofinity Soft Contact Lenses have been approved for extended wear for up to 6 nights /7 days of continuous wear, as determined by your prescribing eye care provider. So, you are free to wear these lenses for up to 7 days in a row.

Natural wettabilty

Like other Biofinity contacts, these multifocal contacts feature Aquaform Technology. It allows maximum wettability by binding water to the lens, without additional rewetting solutions or drops. It means extended comfort for you and your eyes, even when you wear these contacts for hours.

Premium comfort

In addition, Aquaform Technology features smooth, rounded edge design that helps you not to feel anything while wearing Biofinity multifocal contacts. More comfort, less rubbing on your eyelids!

These contacts promote healthier eyes and more comfortable extended wear.

What are Biofinity multifocal contacts made of?

The Biofinity Multifocal contact lenses are made from a material containing 48% water and 52% comfilcon A, a silicone-containing hydrogel. The lenses have a tint (phthalocyanine blue) which is added to make the lens more visible for handling.

Note that these Biofinity contact lenses do not provide UV protection.

FAQ

Biofinity Multifocal 3 pack Contacts FAQ

How long can you wear Biofinity multifocal contacts?

You can wear Biofinity multifocal daily for 30 days before replacing them with a fresh pair. They must be stored nightly in an approved solution and cleaned before each use. You can also wear Biofinity multifocal contacts continuously for six nights and seven days.

Are Biofinity multifocal contacts monthly?

Yes. Biofinity multifocal contacts are monthly disposable lenses that you can wear daily for 30 days. They are also approved for extended wear and can be worn continuously for seven days and six nights before replacement.

Can you sleep in Biofinity multifocal?

Yes. Biofinity multifocal contacts are approved for overnight wear. You can sleep in them for six nights without taking them off under the supervision of your eye doctor. Your doctor will determine that your eyes can tolerate wearing contacts for long periods before approving overnight. Wearing these contacts longer than the recommended time can put your eyes at risk of severe infections from bacteria and eye deposits.

How does Biofinity multifocal work?

Biofinity multifocal contacts provide clear vision at multiple distances by combining two lenses of different optical powers. A center-distance lens, which transitions through an aspheric intermediate to an outer near zone, is placed on the dominant eye.

The other lens is a center-near lens that transitions through an aspheric intermediate zone and is placed on the non-dominant eye. The summation of the two lens powers provides clear vision at multiple distances.

What does D and N mean on contacts?

The letters D and N on contacts stand for dominant and non-dominant, respectively, and they are used to simplify the lens-fitting process for doctors. The combination of D and N lenses enables the eyes to focus, thus improving vision for people with presbyopia.
