Yes, Bausch + Lomb's INFUSE® One-Day Multifocal contact lenses are generally safe to use. These are designed to provide clear vision at various distances for individuals with presbyopia. These lenses are intended for daily wear and should be discarded after each use.
The lenses are made from kalifilcon A, a silicone hydrogel material that maintains 96% of its moisture for up to 16 hours. They also feature high oxygen transmissibility, which supports eye health.
While INFUSE® lenses offer UV protection by blocking over 50% of UVA and 95% of UVB radiation, they do not cover the entire eye and surrounding areas, and are not substitutes for protective UV-absorbing eyewear like sunglasses.
